In the New Objectivity style, Wersin designed the Adonis form for Nymphenburg, which is still one of the manufactory's most beautiful today. The light refracts in the fine grooved relief of the surface, making the shards appear almost transparent in the play of shadows. The reduced painting emphasizes the
